Prime-E 4000
Provides nutritional support during times of stress due to excessive exercise and/or illness in horses.
Vitamin E functions as an antioxidant, preventing the oxidation of unsaturated lipids within the cell by neutralizing the production of free radicals. With this, Vitamin E helps to maintain normal neuromuscular function. Adult horses that are deficient in Vitamin E may develop myopathy or equine motor neuron disease. Alpha-tocopherol is the most biologically available form of Vitamin E as well as the most studied. (4000 IU Vitamin E per 1 oz serving.)
Note: Prime Defense provides 2000 IU per serving of Vitamin E. Prime-E 4000 fed twice per day along with Prime Defense will provide 10,000 IU/day of Vitamin E, which is the recommended level for recovering EPM horses.
Feeding Directions: 1 oz. twice per day.
